To See the Old Neighborhood......

Part 1

Turles didn't want to go! Nappa didn't want to go! But still, under the pressure of Radditz, Kakarot and Prince Vegita, they went. Just the five of them. Kakarot, Vegita, Radditz, Turles and Nappa, out to indulge themselves and take a wee vacation from the humans and half-breeds that surrounded them where ever they went.

Not that their children, or their mates, or even the general population was bothering them all that much. It was just nice to get away for a while. Get out and use their natural skills of survival.

It was just a small excursion. Ment entirely to be full of sparring and hunting and good times. Saiyan bonding, if you will.

As they flew, they watched the uneven terain that wizzed by beneath them, and the warm air that caressed their bodies and played over their faces and hair as they flew towards a yet undefined site. And OH, did their sudden freedom seem good.

Once far enough from the populated areas, they stopped, still in mid-air and faced eachother in a large Saiyan circle. It was time to have fun. The kind of fun only Saiyans can have.

Sparring partners had been placed early on, before they even left to go on this outing. It would be Radditz and Nappa's combined power agenst Turles, and Goku and Vegita (naturally) would fight eachother.

So, without further adue, they started in doing what they did best. Fighting.

It was FUN, the punching and the kicking. The blocking and the ducking, and even the hitting and being hit added to the excitment of being alive and there that day. And they had all the time in the world to do it, too!!

Radditz was especially thrilled, as his chi had strengthened more than he thought earlier. Perhaps Turles had weakened a bit as well, for he had nearly completely given up on training and spent nearly all his time addicted to t.v. He was sorely regretting it, as Radditz was connecting with more hits than he was receaving.

When had Radditz's chi gotten THIS high though!? That's what Turles wanted to know, but only Radditz and Kakarot knew the answer.

Goku had started training with Radditz in the early morning, when the sky was still dark, and everyone else was sleeping peacfully in their beds. They had been doing this for the past two months.........since their talk that calm, peacful night.

It wasn't just sparring, either. Goku was accually TRAINING Radditz. Teaching him better, more efficiant ways to throw chi, as well as quick ways to get an upper hand when in battle. Radditz would push himself until he couldn't move, and though Kakarot never pulled cheap shots, he didn't take it easy on his brother. When they were done, the sun would already have started to rise. Radditz would get a senzu, and both brothers would go into their respected homes for a few more hours of sleep.

No one the wiser.

And this intense, secretive training was obvously paying off, for Radditz had equaled, if not surpassed, Turles. Turles and Radditz were soon getting so into their fights that Nappa was left out. He couldn't even see where they were! Dissapointed, Nappa headed off toward the forest to kill animals while he waited for the others to wear eachother out.

He didn't even make it to the trees, however, as all five of the Saiyans suddenly found themselves blinded from a bright flash of light.

"What's going on!?" Turles was the first to yell.

Radditz's voice quickly followed with, "What happened?!"

"I can't see!!!" Nappa panicked, flailing around in the air and just barely missing smacking Turles in the face, though neither was aware of it.

"Calm down!" Kakarot's disembodied voice comanded, and the three flailing, blind Saiyans foced themselves to hold still.

After a few more seconds of blind silence, their sight returned and they could see Kakarot and Vegita looking at something. From the way they kept blinking their eyes and squinting, it was evident that they hadn't been spared the temporary sightlessness. They had just been calmer about it.

The thing that had attracted Kakarot and Vegita's attention was a humanoid figure that had not been there before. It was strange, but this firgure didn't seem to have a face. It wasn't that it had an empty space on his head where you would look for eyes or a mouth. Rather, there seemed to be something blocking the eyes from looking at it. Even when Radditz tried his best to look at the figures face, his sight merely slid off in another direction, like a drop of water sliding down a blade of grass.

The group of Saiyans could only guess this figure was male, for it wore baggy clothes that would hide any distinctly female curves on it's body. His body was small, but compact, though it looked bigger than it accually was due to the large shoulderpads that supported a cape that was longer than his body.

The firgure smiled politley, or somehow the small band of Saiyans felt like it had smiled. It was strange, but it seemed like it was perfectly normal to just feel what the figure's face did.

"I'm sorry about the photo-explotion," the firgure said sincerely, "But it always happens when I break a small tear in reality for me to fit through."

"Reality?" Goku asked, quirking a brow. Vegita huffed but was also curious what the figure ment by that.

"............yes. You see, I come from a sort of different reality," the figure was struggling to find the right way to explain this, "Oh! I'm afraid I've been impolite! I forgot to introduce myself, and I'm sorry as I am aware of how important salutations are to your society. I am Noone."

"No one?" Nappa asked, still blinking to clear his eyes, for they hadn't regained full sight yet.

"Pronounced the same," Noone said, nodding his head in an unseeable way.

"Fine, you're Noone!" Vegita interupted, "Now what did you mean you 'made a tear in reality'?!"

"Of coarse of coarse!" Noone jumped, he seemed to be the type to get distracted easily, "As I was saying, I'm from a different reality!"

"Do tell," Vegita said, growing agitated at his oun curiosity.

"Um....right. Anyway, MY reality sort of watches out for the other realities! Think of it as a big-brother reality, if you will."

Turles snorted, Vegita scoweled, Goku's brow wrinked even more. No one knew what Noone was talking about.

"And.............?" Goku pressed, hoping a further explaination might clear things up a bit.

"Oh! Right, sorry," Noone said confusedly, "I forgot to finish again! I've been told hundreds of times before that I take forever to accually-"

"Get on with it!" Radditz barked.

"Oh, sorry again! Anyway," Noone seemed to say 'anyway' a lot, "Our reality tries to give other realities, our little-brother realities, a small reward for their struggles. We do this in a vast variety of ways, such as giving the hungry planets food, or giving some unstable planets a few hundred more years or-"

"GET ON WITH IT!"every one yelled in unison.

"Okay, jeez.........I came to give the surviving Saiyans a gift,"Noone said quickly.

The group was silent for a moment to let this sink in, before Vegita finally said, "See? That wasn't so hard to spit out."

"So.........," Nappa said slowly, "What'cha gonna give us?"

"Did I forget to mention that?" Noone said, oblivious to the fact that everyone, EVERYONE was getting agravated at him constantly skipping around and forgetting what he was saying, "I want to give them a chance to go on vacation!"

"Pardon?" Goku said, and all the other Saiyans were about to ask the same thing, though in a more vulgar way.

"What the hell are you talking about?!" Vegita chimed in, "We're ON vacation right now!"

Noone stared at the Saiyan price blankly for an instant, then smiled (that creepy smile that can only be felt) and said, "I didn't say WHERE your vacation would be!"

Everyone waited a few seconds to allow him to speak, but he had forgotten he was talking again.

"Well.......," Turles tried to resist the urge to kill the man, "WHERE'S IT GONNA BE!?!?!"

"Oh, heh heh!" Noone said, grinning with all his might, "Planet Vegita-sei, or coarse!"

To be continued..........
