Endangered Saiyans

Part 1

The sky was dark, the lightning and winds were out of control; the world seemed to tremble with foreboding. Some would expect a sudden, volent downpour. Others might expect a typhoon. Some, however, would see the sky, and think 'Shenlong has been awakened once again.'

"Who has summoned me?" the great eternal dragon's voice boomed across the land.

"It was I!" a small person said from the foot of this gargantuan dragon. The small figure was a woman with frizzy brown hair that stuck out from under her explorors hat. She wore an explorors outfit, khaki to the core, and she had a tendancy to overexagerate her words and gestures, "I, renowned Biologist and titled Animal Lover of the Year do summon you, oh great and mighty dragon to bequith a wish insignifigant of your power!" The woman splayed her hand over her head and every couple of words, she would ball her hands into fists, then released them again.

The dragon looked down at her as it waited.

"Say your wish now!" Shenlong commanded, wanting to go back to his eternal slumber.

"I wish for all extinct and endangered animal that have died on this planet to be restored to life!" the animal woman shouted.

"Very well," the dragon bellowed, and below him, a portal of light appeared, and out of the light came a vast array of animals--some never seen before. Strange birds, and oddly colored animals, reptiles and instects, hairy, scaley, lumbering, slinking, skulking, flying; all spilling out of the giant portal of light.

Then, over the squeeking, squaking, grunting and other animal noises, there could be heard a not so animal noise coming out of the portal. A very menacing sound--

The sound of laughter.

"Endangered animals indeed!" said one voice scornfully.

"This is truely a turn of events that no one could have guessed at!" a second voice chortled.

"Who'd have thought that having our entire race killed off would be the reason that we have survived?" a third voice said.

"W-who?" the animal lady managed.

Coming from the portal of light were three extremely large figures. The first figure was the smallest of the group, though he was over twice the size of the animal woman, and his body seemed to be one big, continious, rippling muscle. His black hair seemed to defy gravity, and stuck nearly straight out from the side of his head, his face would have been quite handsome, if not for the coldness of his eye. He looked evil.

Behind this first figure came a second. This one was huge; making the first figure's impressive muscles look like nothing but toothpicks, and his every step was so full of authority and power that the animal lady took far more than one step back in surprise. The giant's head was absolutely hairless save the small mustach that creeped out from under his nose.

The third to come out of the portal was about inbetween the heigths of the first two, but he was taller, longer, and his face seemed fairer, though no less menacing. His hair was incredibly long and black, dangling down to nearly his knees in a chaos of tough, thick strands.

All three wore strange looking white armor with almost rediculously large shoulder pads; each had a strange device mechanical device attached to their ears that held a small piece of colored glass over their left eyes. Each also had an odd looking brown, furry belt around their waists.

They were the very image of intimidation.

"Well, well, so this is our savior?" Nappa said, looking at the frightened animal lady.

"I imagine so," Radditz said, smiling.

"Then I guess it would only be polite to say 'thanks'," Turles said to his fellow Saiyans. He raised his hand upward, palm facing the unfortunate woman and with little effort and a bright flash of light she didn't see coming, she was reduced to a small pile of smoking cinder.

"The wish has been granted," the dragon said, and as the sky returned to blue, the woman's exploror's hat slowly drifted to the black smear on the ground--the only evidence of her existance.

The three resurrected Saiyans smiled at one another, then burst out laughing.
